Usually no programming knowledge is required. We always try to provide enough options and settings without bloating the theme with unnecessary code. However, you do need to know how to install WordPress on your domain.

HTML Template are static, non-back-end packages of html code filled pages. Each HTML template contains .html pages, CSS stylesheets, JavaScript files and some PHP helpers. These templates are recommended for static websites that don’t require an administrator panel functionality or they’re recommended for developers who are interested in converting them into CMS applications (like Joomla, WordPress, Drupal or custom PHP or ASP CMS’s). They’re usually easy to be handled or deployed via FTP if you don’t mind changing some texts and images path.

Yes and No. A basic understanding of HTML, CSS and some JavaScript or PHP is required to modify any HTML template, but only on a deeper customization level. For basic text changes or image path changes, or even chunks of code, this does not require any special coding skills. It all depends on what you’re planning to do with it.

Unfortunately not. HTML templates are not WordPress themes and cannot be used with WordPress without additional programming.
